With the US-based brand Printronix’s acquisition of
TallyGenicom in February of 2009, Printacom Technologies became
the sole authorised distributor of TallyGenicom’s range
of printers for sub-Saharan Africa.

ensure an unprecedented level of service is delivered in the
vital line printing market, Printacom has formed an Industrial
Printing division, which is responsible for supplying and
supporting the market with a full range of TallyGenicom hardware,
consumables and spares.

Dascom
DASCOM is a private conglomerate that was founded in 1988
and is situated in Hong Kong. The business develops, manufactures
and provides enterprise printing solutions.
Tally Dascom’s products are used in most major industries
including banking, logistics, retail, healthcare, automotive,
manufacturing, telecommunications, government, public safety,
aviation, transportation and warehousing/distribution. They
look forward to a further strengthening of their serial, mobile
and thermal printer ranges, and, in the near future, to the
establishment of other new offices throughout EMEA.
Office
Automation
The Office Automation division exists to meet the market’s
growing demand for fully-managed print services. It comprises
dedicated sales, support and maintenance staff that offer
managed services on the OKI Executive Series (ES) range of
multifunction and colour printers.
By
offering preferential interest rates, OKI ensures that its
equipment is made accessible to users, within their budgets,
through a managed service contract based on a pay-per-use
fee that further reduces the cost of ownership of these printers
that are renowned for their comparative lower running costs.
Technical
Support Services
Printacom prides itself on having one of the most technically
proficient support teams in the country; with a wealth of
technical skill, knowledge and resource available through
its distributors and a very focused and highly-skilled channel
of resellers.
Printacom
also has an in-house support and help desk facility that provides
customers with a first line of support. By calling the central
support number 0860 435 711, users will be directed to their
nearest repair and service centre.
To
further service its customer base; Printacom has also put
in place a vast network of service centres, with access to
more than 1000 engineers through agreements that have been
signed with well-respected and well-known service partners.
Through
this facility, Printacom is able to provide customers with
yet another avenue for technical support, repairs and warranties,
since replacement parts and stock items are held locally for
this express purpose.
